clyde

Clyde is a Christian Children's Fund child who I sponsor.

Here is the bio the CCF sent me when I began sponsoring Clyde:

"Clyde is the eldest child in a brood of five. Mr. and Mrs. Coy-om derive their meager income from farming. Since income from this is seasonal, the couple finds it hard making both ends meet. They fear that they might not send all their children to school due to poverty. Home to them is an old house made of wood and galvanized iron sheets which they neither own nor rent. Though financially hard up, the family lives harmoniously. They also have sound relationships with their neighbors. Clyde is an obedient, respectful, and helpful boy. At home, he assists his mother in doing the household chores. He cleans the house and washes the dishes. His free time is spent in reading and playing with his peers. An elementary grader, Clyde loves Filipino among his many subjects in school. He is a fair student who dreams of finishing his studies and landing a good job to be of help to his family in the future."
