With the changing of the seasons, Trinity Place takes on a whole different personality. Our apartment often feels cavernous, and the size makes it difficult to heat. That, coupled with a broken wall heater in the living room. It works, but only long enough to keep the room above iceage temperatures.

Standing at the leftmost window in our living room, we have an excellent, if slight, view of Mount Hood. When the trees lose their leaves, the view improves. Isn't that just the way? One thing wanes while another just begins to shine. In the natural world, though, this is an endless cycle. It will come around again.

In other news, Lars and Anne are leaving for Calgary in January. Everything, of course, will change.
